This is why you do other competitions before the GP season so you aren't so rusty and can work out the kinks. Not sure why they didn't do at least one event before SA.

I think the program can grow a bit. I didn´t like their Billish Eilish-program at first last season, but they totally sold it the end. So will see...

Oh definitely agreed. I actually didn't like their Egyptian Snake Dance program the first time I saw it either! In general it's rare for me to love a program right out the gate, it usually needs a couple outings to really gel unless the skater + music choice is just that good. So I'm always open to changing my mind... unless it's a cutesy mime program with voice overs in which case kill it with fire and start over from scratch

Yeah, I'm intrigued by the crowd's reaction. I'm interpreting a mix of surprise Chock/Bates weren't farther ahead, relief they won anyway, and a healthy dose of H/B should've won.

it's called slow learning curve... i don't blame them... the ISU changes the rules every other week

After the RD 3rd-5th place were really really close in points, so I expected there might be a shuffle and indeed there was. KanaDai got hit pretty hard though, and the audience was NOT happy about it.
