Planned content is located in here. Her planned jump content from Worlds for the free:

3Lz+3T, 3F, 3S, 3Lo+2T+2Lo, 2A+2T+2A, 3Lo, 3T

What she actually jumped:
3Lz+3T, 3F, 2S, 3Lo+2T, 2A+2T, 2S, 2A
thanks... i guess she felt it would be better to skate clean and after the 2s, and her inability to connect properly with the 2a combo (for either a triple or the sequence) she just dropped the 3lo and 3t and replaced them by 3s which became 2s.. and 2a...

So in the end, all this talk led to a huge downgrade in BV.

If she wants something easier with repeating the 3ts she doesn't need the 3lz-3t... at the same time, it's a good combo for her so why not ?

I like her 3lz and 3 loop the most from her jumps. People say her 3f is difficult for her, yet it's been quite good this year. Her salchow can be a hot mess....

I think she could do a much simpler program and have higher BV using the +2a sequence like many others.

Well, isn't she the only Canadian woman with the minimums?
Because the others don't get out :) Considering the number of women at worlds who gave subpar performances, I feel confident that a number of Canadian women could get their minimums if they had the chance to go to smaller competitions... I won't name any skaters but you can certainly look at the list of all of those who didn't make the LP... and even some of those in the first group. They are not ALL better than the Canadian skaters who are chasing minimums at their one per year outing ;) (okay some got a couple more)
As far as this season goes (or went), that's about as close to "only hope" as she could be.

I do agree with you that the others have been hampered by limited opportunities. And I really don't understand that.

But in terms of the weight that rested on Maddie's shoulders, isn't that irrelevant? Regardless of whatever federation decisions or others' competitive results got us to this situation, here we are. She was the one, is still the one, for the time being.
Sure...I guess the poster makers for worlds in MOntreal didn't do her any favours :) (nor Shoma).. Jinx of the poster.

Does anyone know why Coach and Program Director for Calata Figure Skating Club, Tyler Myles, has been expelled from Skate Canada? He has been added to the list when it was updated by SC.

Or maybe I missed this from before but I am pretty sure this is recent.
Tyler Myles is listed as one of the sanctioned individuals in the OSIC registry.

Given the nature of the prohibited behaviour for why he was sanctioned, I hope his victims and the other skaters at the club are safe.

Other people associated with Skate Canada who are on the registry (not sanctioned like Tyler Myles, "just" subject to provisional measures):
  • Chris Stokes (coach at Skate Oakville, international data/replay operator, domestic technical official)
  • Jamie McGrigor (former pairs skater, retired ISU technical specialist for pairs skating (last active at Jr Worlds this season))
  • Nikolaj Soerensen (ice dancer)

For anyone interested - was watching some old figure skating videos on YouTube and SCI from 2000 came up. And a young (age 17) Deanna was skating in ladies singles. She came 5th behind Jen Robinson.
I wouldn't mind hearing what Jen thinks now!

Incredible to think that Les Suprêmes are 3 times world champions considering how dominant Finland was a few years back. Wonderful stuff from Nova as well. Great learning experience from them. Canada is really getting somewhere with Synchro and I am extremely glad that
1) synchro is presented at Nationals now
2) Les Suprêmes skated at the gala at Worlds... seeing their LP live was incredible. It doesn't translate nearly as well on streaming. I hope you get to see synchro of that level live. I am a super fan now !
