For me that really worked from G/F. At first I was skeptical and I think they were brave to do it,but it was really fun and the crowd was with them. Actually I am a little surprised no dance team has really done Riverdance before- I can see it really really bringing crowd to its feet in the hands of the right team.

I'd actually say it's unusual now for teams not to repeat their lift from the SD in the free.

Shae-Lynn bourne and Victor Kraatz did it in Nagano 98. Their Riverdance FD was third but finally they lost the bronze to Anissina and Peizerat.

I really enjoyed Guignard and Fabbri. Riverdance suits them so much better than Romeo and Juliet. And their energy is unbeatable
