Well, she's got it!!!



Not bad for a girl who was in her hospital bed with pneumonia not that long ago.

That is why she's the Queen!

Whatever the reason may be for gray tape on skates, white tape should have gone over it. This is very distracting.

Probably needed stronger duct tape and not just skating tap to get more support. I know men use black duct tape on skates. A pity they couldn't find some white duct tape or use over the boot tights today.

I have a sinking feeling that this trend of the Japanese ladies not being able to deliver when it really matters is going to continue.

This sucks because I love Rika and Kaori a lot and Kaori's probably my favorite ladies skater of all time.

Ah well, I guess this helps me to better appreciate Hope and Legacy and Sui/Han's Rain in Your Black Eyes because it's just reminding me again of how dastardly difficult it is to be perfect when you can't find the room to breathe.

I suppose...I'm still mad though. They showed no faith whatsoever in Liza when they kept her out of Worlds. I hope they feel like jerks now.

And Bradie would have won bronze, if not silver too...

Liza was awesome, though and had a well-deserved first place! And a great new SB score! Sadly, Team Russia won only bronze but her and Sofia can be really happy and proud of how they skated here.

And congrats to Team USA and Team Japan!

Overall it was a great competition with some truly wonderful moments. I just wished Rika had had a better skate... but there‘s still next season.
