I made the Nats thread since Hailey or seabm7 wasn't around, there will be a lot of edits needed so pardon me on that. Right now working on entries, senior entries are all posted

---

It's been a while since I've posted recordings of our skaters' names, and while I was writing down the entries for Nats I again felt the need to do that. Like, skaters just cannot be consistent with romanizing their names :drama: And since a lot of new skaters will be introduced via Nats I thought it would be useful for you non-Korean speaking folk. I am no news broadcaster but I did my best, here are the full entry list for 2020 Nats, both junior and senior. The order of names is the starting order for the short, which is posted in the thread linked above.

... So, Nats senior ladies' SP has just finished. I am extremely pissed at the judges. Either they're rewarding Haein for her consistency or they are lowballing Yelim. And also squirtle. And my beloved Seoyoung. And Seoyeon. And Haneul. I'd argue Jihun as well if she didn't chronically UR. What the (bleep) judges

Would you please share the SP results? Thank you!

Ladies 2nd spot is still wide open. Free skate will be interesting!

Not really that open, as the judges are straight-out refusing to give Haneul GOEs and Jihun is a carrot farmer it's between Yelim and Eunsoo. It's killing me, both so deserve to go yet there are only two spots, even if we manage to get 3 spots back at this WC next season Haein will move up.

i feel like hae in was the new favorite of ksu uhmp

You're not the only one, people around me were like "what" when Haein's score came up. Not because she hadn't done well, she was wonderful, but all the ladies minus Young that had gone before her and didn't make major mistakes got way less. When Yelim's scores came up people started whispering that Haein was being pushed to the top, and honestly I agreed. Haneul, who got all her levels and is a seasoned senior who even went to the Olympics, had the exact same jump layout yet got 5 points less. Granted Haneul's jumps are smaller, but she is an excellent spinner and has speed and flow. The overall gap between Haein and the rest of the top 10 ladies just doesn't make sense.

i feel like if young didn't do well on her SP they're really gonna push haein on top.. and thank god young really did well landin her triple axel.. I think KSU is pushing haein hard with this mindset that haein will be the next yuna again.

well true but Yelim and Eunsoo are not consistent right now, both are prone to UR too. If both skate like they did in GP then its up to grab for others (if clean of course)

I have no idea what Young You's score is, but in addition to Rika's best Sp's this season, Young You's and Haein's Lee's Nationals SP's are my favorite Sp's of the season. I think Young You should definitely be in first because of base value and while I love the beautifully smooth fluidity and speed of Haein Lee's expression, spins and step sequences, the powerful angular movements, expression and great skating skills in Young You's performance are a striking contrast in style that captivates me just as much, and with the triple axel even slightly more. Personal opinion is that it is a race to the bottom in deflating its skaters between the JSF and Korean federations because of their lack of political influence or will to take on the true power in the scoring system to set an erroneous and unjust precedent for international deflation, which makes the scoring a completely dark joke to me. Did Haein Lee really get a 68 and 30 PCS for that performance? Shocking deflation and I am assuming that Young You was at least as equally deflated.
